- The Incorporation of Youth into the Economic Development of Our Downtown. Since 2019, Ms. Jennifer Hall’s Special Projects class has been actively advising and assisting Main Street La Junta by:
- Creating a much-beloved video showing La Junta pride for HGTV’s Home Town Takeover Contest
- Researching and creating new videos on the Flora and Fauna of the La Junta Brick and Tile Park, Lucy’s Tacos, and the Arts in La Junta and Swink
- Writing a grant to fund a bicycle-share program in the downtown
