The La Junta Parade of Lights marks the start of the Christmas season
for ​La Junta! During this time La Junta welcomes Santa Claus with a parade and the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

It’s a Wonderful Christmas Kickoff

Get into the holiday spirit as colorful floats and vehicles light up downtown La Junta for the annual Parade of Lights. The parade is held on the Saturday following Thanksgiving each year. Following the parade, join the community for the lighting of the Christmas Tree in Santa Fe Plaza.
