Music Resource Guide

Music Licensing Options For Your Film:

1.     Original Music. That is music you created yourself or hired a composer. If you had someone make the music for you, just make sure you have an email or simple release stating it’s okay to use.

2.     Licensed Music. Licensed music is music you don’t own and isn’t exclusively for your film, but you get permission to use, either for free or for a small fee.

3.     Non-Licensed Music from another Film or a Big Artist. It’s illegal and you could get in serious trouble.  Don’t use music in your film you don’t have permission for or have paid to use. In addition, this includes any music that was sampled to help create another original song – those sampled tunes will need an artist’s permission for use or a license to use the sampling in the created song.

Arkansas Valley Film Festival Advanced Ticket Sales

Tickets can be purchased on the day of at the Fox Theater. The box office at the Fox Theater will be open during the festival, December 16th, at 10:00 AM.

Until then and during the festival, we highly encourage you to purchase tickets in advance to avoid wait times and contact.
